Here are some commonly asked questions I get…

What is empowerment coaching?

When creating my program, I started with the idea of holistic health as a form of self empowerment. I struggle with immune and digestive issues so I know firsthand how important it is to have your health when you’re trying to live your best life. That concept could have been simplified to health coaching, but I wanted to bring more to the world. Health is the vehicle that brings you on this amazing journey we call life, and I believe that your journey is just as important as your vehicle.

Outside of this, I have experience with body positivity and confidence coaching. Those often shunned the health aspect but focused more on living your best life. That means being wholly satisfied in all areas of life: career, lifestyle, spirituality, and interpersonal relationships. However, it’s sometimes hard to pursue those parts of your life when you’re sick, or constantly tired, or unmotivated.

Empowerment coaching is a culmination of all I believe is important to us as vibrant beings. If you’re feeling tired and downtrodden it is the solution to your concerns. That is because it tackles those empowered values (career, lifestyle, spirituality, and interpersonal relationships) with the holistic support of a strong, healthy body and mind. It is a renovation of your entire life, without requiring that you sacrifice all of your current lifestyle (unless that’s what you’re looking for).

What came before empowerment coaching?

I’ve been a yoga teacher and an educator for years. After graduating college, I started working as an art teacher at a private school in Boston while enriching my yoga practice through Yogaworks. As an art teacher I focused less on strict lesson plans and more on inspiring creativity and empowering my students. At the same time I studied yoga religiously and after I got my 200-hour certification I was the first in my class to start teaching. I transitioned into being a full-time yoga teacher over several months, and in doing so I spoke with the woman who took over. I talked about how loose my lesson plans were, and how I admired her structure— without prompting she said that while she had a more formal education in art, I excelled at the inspirational side. “You have a gift,” she said, and that meant the world to me. I kept this in mind as I taught yoga classes, always taking time to speak with students who were working through personal dilemmas. This was the time of the 2016 election, mind you, so tension was at a high and people were extremely distraught. It was a saving grace to be able to help people work through the emotions of political loss and stress. I started incorporating body positivity coaching to my practice in 2017, and hosted workshops to help women ditch diet culture and truly feel good about their bodies. After a cross-country road trip and a more personal approach to coaching, I ended up here and I wouldn’t trade it for the world!

What are the more accessible options here for those on a budget?

Most people spend money on things they don’t need— new clothes for every season, boutique fitness memberships, drinking, eating out at restaurants. While these things bring us temporary pleasure they don’t deliver the long-lasting enrichment that having the support of a one-on-one coach who is truly in your corner can provide. I know this myself— I utilize coaching services and would not be where I am without them. The money I spend on coaching services is the best money I spend— it makes me feel focused, energized, and ready to take on the world. Those feelings don’t come from material things (trust me— I’ve tried with no avail to get those feelings from new clothing items, new shoes, fresh manicures. It is simply incomparable, and if you’re thinking that you want those feelings I highly recommend scheduling an Inspiration Interview. Taking these steps can revolutionize your life, and isn’t that what you’re looking for? If you’ve read this far, you’re here for a reason.

At the same time, I understand that there are people who have stricter budgeting concerns. In our economy there is a high number of people living paycheck to paycheck. In those instances, I am starting a YouTube channel to provide financial guidance for those getting started in life to help them, too, create abundance.

Of course, my monthly meditation series is an incredible, high-value opportunity to shift your life. While it is less personal than coaching services and delivers a different form of guidance, I’ve priced it at an accessible level that works for most budgets. I highly recommend checking out my meditation series. However, faith in your abilities should be prioritized— wherever you are, you deserve to reach higher, and achieve a better state of mind. One on one coaching is directed towards creating abundance, which through my own experience can double or triple your income easily. If you’d like to speak more on that, schedule an Inspiration Interview! And as always, believe in yourself.

What if I feel that all is lost?

I of course recommend coaching to anyone who feels lost, but if you truly feel hopeless and depressed on a regular basis you may need more than a spiritual guide. Know that no matter who you are, there is love and support available to you. Therapy and medication work wonders for those with depression and anxiety, and beyond that you do not need to go through this alone.

If you’re feeling too scared to visit a therapist in person, try Talkspace or BetterHelp.
